<lj:music>X Amount Of Words by Blue October</lj:music>

So, I've had this journal for a while now, and I think it's about time I wrote something down about me. Me, meaning the HP-fan part of me that pretty mush consists the entire me. Get it? I'll explain:

When it comes to me and my addiction to Harry Potter and everything that has to do with HP, the word obsession is a major euphemism. I eat, sleep and breathe HP. I know a lot of people can relate to this, but I still find it frightening how consumed I am by some fantasy of a woman named JK Rowling. I bless and curse the day I found HP fan fiction, it had been the death and rebirth of me as a person. I was so glad that I was no longer limited to rereading the six (soon seven) original stories. I spent various sleepless nights reading, especially the first three months. Now that the novelty of it is starting to get worn and I can manage to get at least 5 hours of sleep, I'm realizing this obsession of mine can't be good for my state of mind. My grades at final year of high school dropped from an average of 90% (yeah, I was the type of kid that actually enjoyed studying) to 75%, and the worst part pas: I didn't even care.
As long as I have HP in my life, I'll be happy.

I love reading, learning new things, but I don't think I'm capable of writing something decent down myself. That is, is I can tear myself away from a new novel-length fic I've found.

So that all I've got to say for now. (getting ready to read next fic)
